A fine cased five shot percussion Imperial Patent Revolver, 3.75inch sighted octagonal barrel, inlaid in gold IMPERIAL PATENT REVOLVER within a chevron and scroll border on the top flat, border and scroll engraved frame highlighted with two tone gold, the right side of the frame serial numbered 6120 in gold just in front of the cylinder, border and scroll engraved trigger guard highlighted in gold, swollen grip of ebonised wood with acanthus and castellated ivory butt cup, contained in its red velvet lined close fitted case, complete with two serial numbered spare cylinders, bullet mould, wad punch, cleaning and loading tools, combination nipple key and turnscrew and small pistol flask, the two lidded compartments with foliate embossed gilt linings. This revolver and its spare cylinders retain most of their original blued finish. A carved coconut flask, late 18th/early 19th century, with two diminutive ring handles carved with a mask and flower sash near the spout, the body carved with four ovals of lovebirds and an arrow, a basket of flowers, musical trophies and faithful dog beneath a tree near a plinth with two hearts, leaf carved lower section, 15cm long.
