A late 19th century sword stick with acid-etched and engraved blade, white metal mount and further white metal bands to the sheath, a three-section walking stick with brass horse head finial enclosing a drinks flask and a further walking stick with resin eagle head finial (3). CONDITION REPORT The sword stick has been covered in leather as a much later addition and the white metal bands are deformed, dented and heavily rubbed. The blade is also heavily worn and pitted - particularly by the hilt, the white metal band on the hilt of the blade is misshapen and possibly retrofitted. The handle is almost certainly not the original for this walking stick. The horse's head walking stick - the threads are loose for the horse's head and it does not grip the collar properly. The drinking tube within is glass. The eagle's head example has heavy wear throughout the shaft.

Retains good traces of blued finish to the barrel and faded colour to the frame.

The neck has been anmd glued and also has lots lof chips to the rim as per the description. The other handle is missing the tail tip.

Powell, both scents decorated with goldfinches, the plates with Wren, Robin, 'Missel Thrush', Nightingale and Bluetit, various printed and painted marks, plates diameter approximately 12cm, scent bottles approximate heights 10cm and 8.5cm (7) Condition report Robin plate has some crazing in the glaze. The 'Missel' Thrush plate has a plain gilt edge unlike the others and it also has wear. The scent bottle with stopper is in good condition although the cork has been glued into the stopper. The flattened flask scent bottle has no stopper but is in good condition. Both scent bottles bear Worcester marks. The flattened flask has light wear to the gilding where it rests on a surface. The other scent bottle has some light wear to the gilt stopper
