TWO MUGHAL SILVER FLASKS AND STOPPERS, NORTH INDIA OR KASHMIR, 18TH/EARLY 19TH C with compressed bulb, slightly flared neck and domed stopper, chased with vines in two registers divided by stiff leaves and a collar, one inscribed Sharāb chū la'l ravān be-jashār (the wine as ruby-red as a hunting ground) and Sharāb-i masdaq chū rū'ī shikār (a wine as brave as when going to the hunt), the other inscribed Be-ār ān sharāb chū beh sāt (bring forth that wine of good repute) and Ke bayad za bū-ish dil-i a'm zakāt (that its scent must give alms to all hearts), 17.5cm h, 13ozs 15dwts Provenance: Pryce family of Gunley. ++One stopper lacking the pointed finial, both originally with a chain linking the finial to the flask as evidenced by a small ring. Both in well preserved condition, decoration crisp, some polish residue, no later engraving, significant wear or any repairs

A 6 shot .44” Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver, number 157540 (1866) on all parts, the barrel retaining traces of New York address. GWO & basically GC (worn overall, no trace of cylinder scene, rammer, barrel wedge and several screws replaced); in a modern fitted oak case with a Dixon copper flask (spring AF), and reproduction mould, loading rod and nipple key/ turnscrew, a cap tin, set of nipples, and key to case. A 6 shot 70 bore open frame self cocking transitional percussion revolver, 12” overall, octagonal barrel 5¼”, B’ham proved, with scroll engraved rounded frame, trigger guard, and butt strap, the hammer pierced with slot for sighting, and with finely chequered walnut grips. GWO & C, the barrel retaining much original blued finish; in its original red velvet lined fitted mahogany case with brass escutcheon in the lid and reproduction trade label of Deane, Adams & Deane, containing a continental 54 bore steel ball mould, reproduction flask, nipple key with pricker, and brass oil bottle, and a cap tin (rusty). A contemporary Belgian made 5 shot 54 bore Adams Model 1851 self cocking percussion revolver, 11½” overall, barrel 6½”, Liege proved, the breech and frame scroll engraved, the frame also engraved “Adams’s Patent No 87” and stamped “Adams Patent 1851! in oval, the chequered walnut butt having vacant GS escutcheon and engraved steel cap with trap. GWO & C (lightly worn overall); in its original green felt lined fitted oak case, with trade label of Deane, Adams & Deane, London Bridge, and containing turnscrew, pewter oil bottle, and cap tin, and with reproduction bullet mould, powder flask and cleaning rod. Imperial Russian silver and cloisonné enamel-topped scent flask with cut glass body, together with a Russian silver and cloisonné enamel dagger brooch, scent flask 6.5cm long (2) CONDITION REPORT Scent- general overall condition good. Small loss to enamel above and below hinge and change in pattern where hinge may have been repaired. Glass is in good condition, some minor surface scratching and perfume residue inside. Neck has one nick but may have been chamfered at some time to remove others. Cork stopper not original.Brooch- Good overall, no major damage to enamel, may be missing something from tip of scabbard
