WONDER WOMAN (2017) - Erich Ludendorff's (Danny Huston) Factory Missile - A missile from Erich Ludendorff's (Danny Huston) factory in Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman. While being interrogated using the Lasso of Truth, American pilot Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) recalled his mission to infiltrate General Ludendorff's weapons manufacturing factory, where he witnessed a German officer and a scientist discussing the missiles being filled with a steaming chemical concoction from a large, round-bottom flask.This two-piece missile features a machined aluminum Wilko S80 3EG one-liter lamp base filled with foam and a cast dense resin tip with ridge lines painted to resemble brass. The bottom of the tip exhibits foam and tape residue from being affixed to the base for production, and the base exhibits black stains and scuffing. 19th Century School, oil on mahogany panel, The Alchemist. An old man (Wizard/Sorcerer/Warlock?) consults a large old book surrounded by vials, bottles and flasks in an interior. Bears old white chalk (Sothebys ?) marks verso, 40.5cm x 31cm, in an ornate gilt frame Condition Report: It has received some surface scratches to front. The worst one is up high and actually to a pillar between two illustrated windows. The lower part of the sitters coat and around the large flask has 'bloomed' ( probably just that colour) it is an interesting picture that needs a clean anyway so a perfect time to do the restoration. The frame is not original to it but a good frame. it has been in the wars but worth putting right ( many frames are just not worth it but this is !)
