B67,circa 1865, with expertly reblued 33in. barrel signed 'WHITWORTH PATENT' at the breech (refreshed), dove-tailed block with threaded aperture for a windage tunnel fore-sight (absent), broad match ladder rear-sight, renewed colour to the breech block and hammer, traces of renewed colour to the lock and re-signed 'WHITWORTH', sliding safe forwards of the hammer, walnut full-stock chequered at the wrist and fore-end, renewed colour to the heel-plate, patchbox and trigger-guard, three blued barrel-bands and replacement ramrod, complete with an expertly reproduced oak storage case compartmented for this rifle and a reproduction Whitworth flask, a bullet mould calibrated to the rifle by Dyson and a tin of Whitworth style wads.
ALEX'R THOMSON, EDINBURGHA CASED PAIR OF 50-BORE PERCUSSION DOUBLE-BARRELLED TRAVELLING-PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers,circa 1840, expertly restored and re-finished, with colour hardened 3 1/2in. side-by-side barrels, engraved bands at the muzzles, London proofs, engraved rib-end at breech, borderline and scroll engraved colour-hardened action with radiused edges and colour hardened engraved side-hammers, the top-tang signed 'ALEX'R THOMSON EDINBURGH', finely chequered walnut full-pistol butts with scalloped heads, flared heel and colour hardened iron caps with central trap-doors, blued trigger-guard bows and captive ramrods on blued under-ribs, in a period walnut box with side-catches converted for these pistols and relined and compartmented in green baize, complete with a lozenge bodied flask and scissors bullet mould.

TRANTER, BIRMINGHAMA FINE CASED 54-BORE PERCUSSION TRIGGER-COCKING REVOLVER, MODEL 'TRANTER'S PATENT DOUBLE TRIGGER', serial no. 13617T,circa 1855, with blued octagonal 6in. barrel engraved with scrolls at the muzzle and scrolls and shells around the barrel throat, dove-tailed pillar and bead fore-sight, standing notch rear-sight to top of standing breech, the border and scroll engraved top-strap signed 'W. TRANTER PATENTEE', colour hardened borderline and scroll engraved five-shot cylinder, fully scroll engraved blued solid frame with contrasting royal blue screws and springs, polished spurless hammer and patent trigger, swept chequered walnut saw-handled grip with engraved and colour hardened domed butt-cap, polished Tranter's Patent articulated rammer with borderline and scroll engraving and engraved mounting screw, the whole retaining the majority of its original finish, polish and colour (losses mostly to barrel-flats from case storage) and complete with its maker's original walnut storage case lined and compartmented in dark blue baize and containing a Tranter's Patent double cavity mould, a loading rod, nipple-key, powder flask, bullets and caps, wads and an oil bottle, all also in fine condition..

KEITH NEAL: JOHN MANTON, LONDONA FINE CASED 15-BORE FLINTLOCK SINGLE-BARRELLED SPORTING-GUN, serial no. 4992,for 1808, with octagonal to sixteen sided to round browned twist 34in. barrel banded at the intersection, bead fore-sight, screw-over breech-block inlet with a rectangular gold poincon to top signed in raised letters, 'MANTON, LONDON' together with a further gold line, platinum lined touch-hole, trophy engraved top-tang, flat border and gamebird engraved lock signed 'MANTON' below the rainproof pan, rollers to the frizzen spring and sear leg, walnut half-stock chequered at the wrist, iron furniture, two barrel keys and original mahogany ramrod, complete in its maker's walnut case compartmented in green baize and bearing a John Manton parchment label inside lid (losses) and including a quantity of shot chargers, a powder flask, shot belt, wad punch, flint wallet and turn-screw together with its W. Keith Neal collection medallion numbered 'C209'..
BLAKE, LONDONA CASED 80-BORE PERCUSSION PEPPERBOX REVOLVER WITH WHITE-METAL FRAME, no visible serial number,circa 1840, with fluted 2 1/2in. six-shot barrel cluster, the flutes carved as side-ribs, engraved band at muzzles, moulded and engraved round-action white-metal frame with silver plating, three-quarter nipple shield, central scroll engraved bar-hammer, guarded trigger, finely chequered walnut bag-shaped grips with signature 'BLAKE & CO' to the engraved backstrap, complete with its walnut storage case lined and compartmented in green baize and containing a flask, cap-tin, turn-screw, loading rod with interchangeable tips, wad punch and ball mould, all contemporary and associated with the revolver.
WILSON, LONDONA FINE CASED PAIR OF 28-BORE FLINTLOCK DUELLING-PISTOLS, no visible serial numbers,circa 1795, with browned octagonal twist smoothbore 9in. barrels, the top-flats signed 'LONDON', small white-metal bead fore-sights, shallow standing notch rear-sights, twin platinum bands and lined touch-holes at breech, engraved bevel-edged colour hardened step-tailed locks with sliding safes behind the cocks and signed 'WILSON', semi rainproof pans and roller frizzens, walnut full-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, blued and engraved trigger-guard bows, twin barrel keys with oval white metal escutcheons and brass mounted mahogany ramrods with tool ends, complete in a possibly associated mahogany case relined and possibly re-compartmented for these pistols, replacement trade label inside lid and containing a number of period accessories including loading rod, three-way flask and scissors mould, the pistols in outstanding condition with storage marks only.
