A lady's silver mounted travelling fitted dressing case, the fittings including; a spirit flask with a pull-off beaker base, a hand mirror, two hairbrushes, two clothes brushes, seven various glass toilet bottles and jars and further fittings, mostly London 1909 and Birmingham 1909, the larger oval glass jar, the cover unmarked (possibly plated) and also a pair of Victorian silver glove stretchers, Birmingham 1898.

dating: First half of the 19th Century provenance: England, Contains bronze powder flask and five, oval, iron cylinders, each for two charges of powder (two spring lids), marked 'SYKES PATENT' and '1 OZ', a pocket for stones. Iron button chiseled with flower; two loops for fastening to the belt. Scarce. dimensions 23 x 15 cm.
dating: third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Belgium, With rotating block provided with four, turn-off, 12 mm cal. barrels, in damask. Percussion and Liege test-bed stamp at the base. Barrels numbered en suite with the breeches. Iron frame of cylindrical shape, engraved with rinceaux. Ring-shaped trigger with firing pin in the bottom part (mechanics to be reviewed). Grip with central band engraved en suite with the frame, smooth, ebony grip scales. In a wooden case lined outside with black Morocco leather, with brass plate bearing a monogram surmounted by baronial crown. Purple color lining inside (restorations). With pincers, bullet mold, ramrod, flask and other accessories. Case complete with the key. length 19,5 cm.
dating: first quarter of the 19th Century provenance: England, Octagonal, smooth, 13 mm cal. barrels, with brass fore-sight, marked 'H.W. MORTIMER & SON LONDON / GUN MAKERS TO HIS MAJESTY'. Breech with frame and fixed rear sight, tans with floral engravings. Forward spring locks, with flat lock plate bearing a frame at the border and signature 'H.W MORTIMER & SON'. Cocks with external safety lock on the tang, batteries with anti-friction wheel, sealing pans. Wooden, full stock with checkered grip. Silver escutcheon on the back bearing letter 'M' surmounted by animal's head. Iron trigger guards, engraved '89 FLEET ST.t'. Horn-tipped wooden ramrods. In a wooden case lined with red velvet inside, provided with a small flask, bullet mold, cleaning tool and ramrod. Inside the cover a gilded marking of H.W. Mortimer Son. On the cover brass mounts and silver-plated tag with caption 'Al Exmo Sr. Valeriano Weyler y Nicolau Capitan General el Exmo Ayuntamiento de Santa Cruz de Tenerife Mayo 1880'. length 21 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: England, Octagonal, turn-off, smooth, 10 mm cal. barrels, equipped with fore-sight. Box-lock type frames with cock on the right side, engravings with geometrical motifs and signature 'SHARPE LONDON' on the left side. Foldaway triggers (one probably replaced). Wooden butts with shell carving and surface decorated with scales. White metal small shields on the back. Butt-plates with primer case and brass lid shaped as a mask. In antique, wooden case with lining replaced. Complete with a brass, small flask. length cm.

Box-lock type, iron frames with rinceau engravings on the sides, surrounded by frames decorated with triangles. Back cocks decentralized to the right. Foldaway triggers. Liege test-bed stamps. Brown wood, drop-shaped butts, with white metal small shields on the back. In an old, wooden case of a later period, with brass mounts on the cover. Complete with a turned ramrod and brass, small flask shaped as a rifle butt (spring not functioning). Provided also with a key. length 17,5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Round, micro-rifled, juxtaposed, 13 mm cal. barrels, in damask, rib equipped with fore-sight. Tangs with rinceau engravings and remains of thin silver inlays, provided with spark arresters. Forward spring locks, signed 'V. COLLETTE' on the right and 'F.t. D'ARMES A LIEGE' on the left, with fine rinceau engravings as well, traces of gilded inlays and outlines. Cocks decorated en suite. Long, wooden butts, provided with grooved grip. Iron trigger guards and muzzle rings, engraved with rinceau. White metal butt-plates provided with primer case decorated with relieved flowers and rocaille on the lid. Bone-tipped wooden ramrods (one with missing part), both provided with iron, fastened cartridge extractor. In a wooden case lined with red velvet inside. Complete with loading rod, screwdriver, bullet mold and small flask. Lid with brass, foldaway handle. length 28,5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: London, Octagonal, rifled, 11 mm cal. barrels, in fine damask, marked 'LONDON', with fore-sight engraved with rays; rectangular frames signed 'EGG' and 'LONDON', engraved with floral motifs, with upper rear sight and bottom cock; wooden, micro-rifled butts, iron engraved trigger guards, butt-plates with alpaca wool primer cases and shields on the back with owner's monogram 'AC'; in their wooden case lined with green cloth, 'D. Egg Gun Patent to his Majesty' label on the lid. Tools in the case, such as powder flask, multi-purpose tool, screwdriver, key and other. length 28 cm.
