The Royal Munster Fusiliers on His departure for West Africa July 1921'. Leather top section with solid silver ball hinged (twist to open) stopper. Sold with a letter to O'Shea from L/Cpl Eager transmitting the flask & thanking him for 'standing by me the way you did' when he took over the Company. Also included a postcard portrait of 9487 Sgt. John O'Shea DCM. (L/Gaz: 25.8.17. for bombing & capturing an enemy post at Wytschacte on 7.6.17.) With MIC & DCM card.   Nice piece.
