CHELSEA; a rare mid-18th century scent bottle in the form of a wine flask, with butterfly stopper and painted with floral sprays to the neck, height 10cm. An example of this scent bottle is illustrated in 'Chelsea Porcelain Toys', by Bryant, illustrated page 68 and an example is also in The Victoria and Albert Museum as part of the Schreibel Collection.Provenance: from a private Worcestershire collection.Additional InformationSome areas of restoration to the butterfly and base of the upper section of stopper, also to the rim of the lower section of the stopper where the collar fits the body. No apparent problems, there is a gap between the stopper mount and butterfly finial, this has all be taken on additional images for viewing.
A Chinese red lacquered gilt heightened box, a small bronze incense burner, a Chinese embroidery, etc.Additional InformationThe textile is heavily worn with holes, rips, stains, fraying etc. Further wear and tear to the items including losses and heavy discolouration to the box. The censer has holes and splits including a notable split to the rim. The tiger type carving the tail has been off/badly knocked. Also has scratches throughout. The flask has heavy wear, tarnishing, discolouration, pitting. The masks have similar surface wear.
A George V hallmarked silver and part crocodile skin hip flask, with twist action lid, Sheffield 1917, height approx 13cm.Additional InformationThe lid does not close and stands proud, some rubbing and lifting to the crocodile skin and tarnishing and toning with surface scratches. This will be a small box to a UK mainland address.

A MATCHED PAIR OF 36 BORE PERCUSSION RIFLED BARREL TARGET PISTOLS, made in Leige in Belgium, fitted with 6 3/4'' damascus barrels, they do not bear a maker's name, the stocks have carved fluted butts whilst their barrels are attached to them with a single cross bolt protected by silver inset ovals, both hammer have lost their tips and the one lock fails to hold in the cocked position, their overall condition is good, together with a copper powder flask (3)

(8cm.) long, a clear glass faceted scent bottle with shaped and pierced white metal screw off lid and a miniature ruby glass scent bottle. (4) *Condition: Mary Gregory having the glass stopper snapped off inside neck, the miniature with no stopper, the silver version with tiny nicks to inner glass stopper, otherwise nothing else to note.
