A 9 ct gold charm bracelet, with padlock and safety chain, 104 grams (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There are 33 charms, a padlock, swivel fob and mounted 1836 coin. All charms are stamped 9 ct or hallmarked 375 with the exception of the following:- Letter B pendant stamped 750, bucket stamped 750, map of Jersey stamped 14 k, hexagonal charm stamped 14 k, wine flask stamped 750. Unmarked as far as we can see anchor, sledge, cross, corncob, jug ewer, camel & small boot.
A silver hip flask, Deakin & Francis Ltd., Birmingham 1900, of slightly curved form and with engraved monogram "WE", also engraved verso for "Wm. Elliott, Cockermouth". Height 16 cm. NOTE - William Elliott was a draper on Main Street, Cockermouth, who passed away in 1904. As a young man he achieved considerable distinction as an athlete. Most of his accomplishments were performed during the time he lived in London, well before local athletics were organised. As a sprinter he was regarded as one of the four best in England.
