St. Barbara, French, 15th/16th century oak with traces of polychrome, possible re-carving to the face and breast h.97cm. Literature Illustrated, The Antique Collector, December 1977, p.106. The figure holds in her left hand proper a cylindrical object. This could either be a castle an attribute of St. Barbara's or the small perfume flask that Mary Magdalene is often portrayed with. Either would be a credible designation.
