The duck cover has been restored. There is a chip to the inside rim of the white glazed box. This is an auction of preowned and antique items. Various animals are mingling in between the ornaments, like a rabbit, a goat, a bird and a sheep. The neck of the flask is created in a lotus flower shape.

Star Wars (1977) - A New Hope - an original production used prop Jawa flask appliance from their Ion Blaster guns. The Jawas are a race of furry humanoids native to the planet Tatooine, and are first seen in A New Hope as they capture R2D2. The flask is made of fibreglass with a wooden core, the outer fibreglass skin moulded and painted to appear as if leather, with faux rivets. A leather strap is fastened to both sides by means of metal rings. A screw protrudes from the top where the tube leading to the ion blaster would have once been affixed. The leather strap remains knotted at the top, likely done on-set by the original costume assistant in order to fit the actor. Measures 16cm tall (main body). Provenance; From the collection of Gary Kurtz (Producer) - and supplied with a certificate of authenticity from the Kurtz / Joiner Archive which details the prop, its use, and history. Props from the very first film are considered extremely rare. A unique piece of Star Wars history.

A pair of Late 18th or early 19th century leather shoes. Two similar throwing spears with leaf shaped blades, the blades 33 and 14 cm, each in the region of 165 cm overall. A long handled spoon with broad bowl. A pair of carved hardwood South seas type tongs or eating implement, perhaps a cannibal fork, with carved handle, 39cm. A fragment of 17th century or earlier armour, an articulated shoulder piece in four parts with signs of leather fastening straps to the reverse, with two additional unattached sections. A section of padded fabric, perhaps to be worn over the shoulder beneath armour, approximately 48 x 23 cm. Two similar woven raffia bracelets. Items no longer attached but formerly part of the display: An 18th/19th century iron key with scrolling handle, 17 cm long. A leather purse with of oval form with draw-string closing, 22 cm x 12 cm. An Eastern bronze 'Costrel' type bell with ring suspension and fluted body, the mount with scrolling foliate decoration.12 x 10cm. A bamboo drinking vessel, the base set with cowrie shells and coral, 11cm high, 7cm wide.A distressed shuttle from a loom, 34cm. A long horn flask, pierced twice for suspension, stamped 'Mer De Glace' (a glacier north of Mt Blanc) 41 cm. A fragment of coconut shell inlaid with mother of pearl, with a paper label to the interior 'From Solomon Islands 1855'. Provenance: Previously at The Hall Bradford on Avon. *CR Many items in poor condition and showing signs of age. An extraordinary collection of items - presumably a collection belonging to a retired or reformed pirate.

A George III flintlock pistol with straight grained walnut woodwork, the side panel engraved with crown and GR and verso to the brasswork "Archer" approx. 39 cm long (ramrod missing) together with a brass powder flask with embossed decoration (nozzle missing) CONDITION REPORTS It appears all to be original. The action does not work, the flint lock moves but does not click into place. The ramrod is missing. There are significant splits through out including down the fore end, underneath in front of the trigger guard and to the back of the flint lock action. Heavy ware tear conducive to age and use. Knocks, bumps etc. See images for more details. The powder flask has some small dents, the opening mechanism is tight/seized.
