A late Victorian silver hip flask, W & G Neal, London 1899, of curved rectangular form, detachable stirrup cup, bayonet clasp fastening, 15.3cm long, weight 8.34oztCR; Moderate denting to the body, cap and the cup, mostly concentrated to the corners and sides. Moderate scratching and wear throughout the body and the cup, commensurate with age and use. No splitting or repair to the body or the cup. Moderate wear to the gilt interior of the cup, particularly around the contact points. Cork is present to cap, but is heavily worn.  Bayonet clasp is in working order, though is slightly stiff. Hallmarks show moderate wear, but are still legible.
