A box of various objets de vertu including a guilloche enamel decorated triple light switch cover, together with note of Provenance "....Made Specially for King Feisel of Jordan who was assassinated before the order was ready for dispatch....", a pair of silver and tortoiseshell dove of peace earrings, a pair of silver duck earrings and matching cufflinks, a small quantity of various other costume jewellery, a pair of Bristol Blue glass moon flask bottles, pair of Rand No. 1 opera binoculars, etc CONDITION REPORTS One of the ends of the light switch cover is dented in resulting in an area of loss to the enamel. One of the corners on the opposite end of the cover is also dented in resulting in cracks and loss to the enamelling. Some wear to the edges of the actual light switch holes and some light scratches to the enamel on the front.. On the underside there are scuffs to the enamelling and an area of loss to the enamelling in one of the corners - see images for details. General wear and tear commensurate with age. the sides of the light switch cover are dirty
A 19th century Chinese blue and white moon flask vase, height 26cm (af) and a further Oriental blue and white vase with ring handles and accompanying hardwood stand, height 21cm (2). CONDITION REPORT Thew moon flask has significant damage and repair to the neck including some losses.The more modern vase has no obvious signs of significant damage or repair.
