Section 58(2) antique / obsolete calibre, can be bought with out a licence. Buyer must be over the age of 18 and ID will be requested if the gun is to be posted out to a home address.The case measures 79cm x 29cm The gun has an old refinish job which is starting to fade very slightly in places. There is fresh surface corrosion spots dotted around the barrels and action. The left tube has a very light impression to it close to the muzzle. There is some light pitting marks that can be seen to the barrels under the new browning. The bores are clean with only occasional spots which might clean up. Both actions work correctly with strong springs. The nipples have been replaced. The wood stock is free from splits or repairs, there are however dents, scratches and small stains. The ramrod has been replaced.

The hammers move forward and back under spring tension but will not cock or dry fire. The metalwork has some light pitting and surface speckling. There is a short reglued split to the woodwork beside one trigger guard finial. The case lining has some wear, stains and small faults. The exterior of the case has some chips and losses to the veneer, the lid has some losses to the brass inlay and is speckled with white paint. There is not key to the lock.

The spring catch works correctly although the spring has a tendency to ride up slightly when worked and may be a replacement. The brass has some very light scuffs and scratches. The leather is in good order and all the seams are intact. There are a few small scuffs and stains as can be seen in the online images but no thin or worn-through parts.
