Including a floral embossed oblong box. hallmarks for Birmingham 1902; 6.5cm long (2 1/2 inches); a small hexagonal trinket box on three feet; two Victorian silver napkin rings; a silver-mounted clear cut-glass round salt; a small dressing table pot; an oval dressing table jar with a silver cover; a button hook; pencil; thimble and other items and an embossed silver oval hair brush and a plain clothes brush; together with a a silver-plated hip flask, and a bookmark Condition Report: The bookmark is generally in good condition. The pot lids, boxes and several other items have some knocks to the silver. Some areas of tarnishing. The glass has some chips to the rims and decoration. Would benefit from a clean. All items have signs of general wear including scratches and rubbing consistent with age and usage.

BronzeChina , 13th century Song Dynasty Dimensions: Height 22 cm Width 11 cm Depth 8 cmWeight: 1372 grams Bodhisattva Guanyin seated with legs crossed on a round, double reverse lotus base, holding an underplate and flask in his hands resting in the lap. Dressed in gowns fastened around the waste and a robe over the shoulders. The round face emanates a peaceful bliss with squinted eyes, small urna on the forehead. An opulent crown with lotus petals decorates the head. The backside of the statue is kept simple, hollow from the bottom.

The sacred thread runs along the naked upper body decorated with jewellery. The right hand is raised with palm facing the front, abhaya mudra, the left hand is holding a small flask containing the elixir of life or amrita. The face is smiling with a raised urna on the forehead, a tiara with floral spikes on the head, the elongated earlobes are adorned with large floral ear pendants. A metal noose on the back of the statue.

THREE CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN MOON FLASKS, 19TH CENTURY. Of graduating sizes decorated with dragons and guardian dogs. The smallest with four-character mark of Kangxi to base. 16cm - 26cm tall. (3)Smallest with chip loss to rim. The medium flask with glue repaired handle. The largest with repair to the neck.
A LARGE CHINESE CIZHOU TYPE STONEWARE FLASK. A heavily-potted vessel in imitation of a leather water container used by nomads in the north of China. Coated in white slip under a transparent glaze with underglaze iron decoration to both sides. Height 36 cm (14 inches). Insignificant flaking of glaze to rim edge and “ridges” of body. Provenance: from a Sussex collection, purchased from a New York seller in the 1990s as Song Dynasty but possibly later.No restoration or repair but the surface stained reddish-brown in places from iron-rich burial soil.
