A George V silver mounted glass hip flask by James Dixon & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1919, of rounded rectangular form with brown leather cover and hinged bayonet clasp, 13.8cm long together with an associated detachable stirrup cup with monogrammed initials 'SA', 4.8cm highCondition Report; Flask: Good order. No cracks, chips or losses to the glass. General scratching and wear consistent with age and use. Heavy scratching and wear to the leather cover. Some small dents to the lid, moderate scratching and general wear. Bayonet mechanism is in working order, and cork to lid is still present and in tact, though is slightly loose.Cup: Heavy scratching, particularly on the base, some pitting concentrated at the corners and edges. Engraving is clear. Gilt interior shows moderate wear and scratching. No splitting, large dents or signs of repair.

An Indian ritual weapon (vajra), of elaborate brass and steel construction in the form of a stylised thunderbolt, the top formed as a three faced deity with skulls adorning the hair, coiled snakes in the intervals between the faces, horse head finial, the base as a dragon's head with hollow triangular-section iron spike projecting from the mouth, an axe blade to one side, 12 in. (31 cm); together with a section of bridle, leather backed iron plates with koftgari decoration; and a carved cattle horn powder flask. [3]

A cased pair of English 39 bore percussion travelling pistols by Sykes of Oxford, sighted octagonal barrels 4 in., top flats engraved 'OXFORD', hooked breeches with foliate engraving and finely reeded borders to the plugs, the tangs, bolsters, lock plates and dolphin head hammers all with fine acanthus engraving; the locks marked 'SYKES', walnut full stocks with engraved steel furniture and chequered grips, vacant oval escutcheons to the wrists, brass tipped ram rods; in their baize lined fitted mahogany case with accessories comprising: Sykes patent combination powder flask with cap and bullet compartments under swing out covers to the base, oil bottle, bullet mould, jag head rod, and lacquered cap tin; Sykes trade label to inside of lid.

An iron sword belt hook, of cossack type, triangular belt plate with scalloped border and pierced decoration, long upright hook with bud terminal and interrupted by a slotted square-section detail; together with a flint knapping hammer of similar style, slim crescent-shaped head, two-stage handle pierced with slots and flared chisel-like terminal, linked by two loose rings to an iron spike, Turkish or West/Central Asian; also with a set of eight Turkish gunpowder cartridges, wooden, with turned tops and elegantly tapering spouts, fabric stoppers retained by leather straps, in a leather pouch with eight fitted compartments; and a pomegranate shaped powder flask, embossed leather over wood, iron spout with sliding wooden shutter, associated iron belt loop. JOHN MANTON & SON, LONDON A FINE CASED PAIR OF 44-BORE PERCUSSION TARGET OR DUELLING-PISTOLS, serial no's 9129, for 1825, almost certainly early caplocks as opposed to conversions, with browned octagonal damascus 9 3/4in. scratch-rifled barrels, signed on the top-flats 'JOHN MANTON & SON, DOVER STREET', applied blade fore-sights, standing notch rear-sights, engraved colour-hardened breech-blocks and fully engraved top-tangs, platinum plugs, colour hardened bar-action locks signed 'JOHN MANTON & SON, PATENT' with border and scroll engraving, sliding safes behind the engraved dolphin-headed hammers, clipped tails, polished walnut half-stocks with chequered bag-shaped butts, engraved blued iron butt-caps, guarded single-set triggers and brass tipped mahogany ramrods, much apparently original colour and finish remaining to both pistols, complete with their original mahogany case with hook and lock closure, compartmented and lined in green baize, original parchment trade-label inside lid and containing a loading mallet, cap-tin, scissors mould, an earlier three-way flask and a later oil bottle, key absent, each pistol 15 1/2in. overall and approximately 2 3/8lbs. in weight.

Auf der Unterseite der Lippe zwei Ton-Ösen und am Bauch jeweils zwei kleine Henkel. Eine Seite des Gefäßes (ticachurana oder auch arybalo) mit geometrischem Dekor und einem applizierten kleinen Gesicht. Intakt. A collection of silver and silver coloured items to include a vesta case (Birmingham 1902) (holes to one side), a hollow 925 ingot (Sheffield 2009), tape measure holder (missing tape) (Sheffield 1905), a continental green enamelled watch, a 0.935 silver pocket watch with enamelled face and a silver coloured blue enamelled miniature flask (6). Watches are sold as spares/repairs. Cracks and damage to the enamel on the interior and exterior.
