An Indian silver box, early 20th century, rectangular with hinged lid, repoussé decorated with figures and animals in landscapes, engraved initials and dated 25.5.10 to lid, 5¼in. (13.5cm.) long; together with a silver flask by 'Dass & Dutt Bhovanipore Calcutta', similarly decorated, 5½in. (14cm.) high; and a circular lidded pot, repoussé decorated with courting couples in scrolled reserves, 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) high, weight 13.5 tr.oz. (3) * Condition: - Box: Two small dents to base. Otherwise good. - Flask: Neck slightly bent over. Otherwise good. - Lidded pot: A few small dings to edges of foot. Otherwise good.
Two Grecian Hellenistic moulded terracotta oil lamps, one buff terracotta, with radial and quatrefoil decoration and scroll decorated spout, 3in. (7.6cm.) long, the other larger in red terracotta, spout a/f; together with two red terracotta scent flasks, one of plain form, the other with moulded lined decoration, the larger 3¾in. (9.5cm.) long. (4) * Condition: - Buff terracotta lamp: Some encustration to surface throughout, but moulded detail clear. Some wear to moulded decoration in places, and small, old chip to one side of spout tip. - Larger lamp: Large section missing from spout. Old hairline cracks to underside of spout. Small chip to top of thumbpiece. - Large flask: Good condition, with no faults. - Small flask: Good condition. One very small chip to rim.
A Victorian silver spirit flask, Atkin Brothers, London 1877, oval form with turn-off lid, engraved 'D. R. Godfrey', 4¾in. (12cm.) long; together with a Victorian fiddle pattern tea spoon, Henry Holland, London 1875, engraved 'David Godfrey', weight 3.75 tr.oz. (2) * Condition: Flask has a long (2in. ) line dent to one side. Otherwise good. Marks slightly rubbed but all legible. Spoon in good condition.
A GOOD LARGE CHINESE QIANLONG/JIAQING PERIOD DRAGON & PHOENIX CLOISONNE MOON FLASK, decorated to one side with a sinuous five-clawed dragon amidst large heads of peony, the reverse side with a phoenix reserved on a similar ground, the neck fitted with two finely cast gilt bronze dragon handles, the foot with key-fret, the rims, neck interior and base gilded, 18in wide at widest point & 26.7in high.c.f.
