Victorian Silver and glass Pilgrim flask with chain swags linked to glass mask handles the neck mounted with silver and engraved with Swimming presentation inscription and dated 1897, London 1893, makers William Hutton and Sons with foliate capped glass body on silver foot and ebonised stand with silver mount won by Alred C A Nitz 1900 to 1901 30cm high excluding stand.
George V silver hip flask, with personal inscription reading 'Bos March 14th 1918', a wedding present to William Sidney Bence Bosanquet (1893-1966) on his wedding day, 15 cm high, 235 gr English hallmarks Goldsmiths and Silversmiths, Regent Street. He married the second daughter of Grover Cleveland. Provenance; Collection of US President Grover Cleveland (1837-1908) (in office 1885-9 and 1893-7) and his descendants. He was the only President to serve two non-consecutive terms of office. Including some of his wife's jewellery (Frances Folsom), and silver. Acquired from two of the President's grand-daughters, Marion Frances (Daniel) nee Bosanquet, (1919-2016) and her sister Philippa Ruth (Foot) nee Bosanquet, by bequest and gift. Their mother Esther was the only child born at The White House to a serving American President.

A large bronze Chinese moon flask 18th/19th Century Of flattened globular form, the cylindrical neck applied with twin dragon handles, the front applied in high relief with ducks perched amid lotus pads, the reverse with a fruiting vine, within bowstring and fret borders against a ground of archaistic motifs. 40.5cm high Part of the fruiting vine missing, revealing an irregular hole to the middle of the reverse side. General wear throughout including surface pitting and dints. Foot slightly dented on both sides.
