ENGLISH MADE MASONIC FLASK. 8ins tall, mid olive green glass, applied collar lip. Raised masonic symbols within arch etc. to one side. Eagle to other - very heavily moulded. Cross hinge & pontil to base. Jim Hagenbuch suggests this was made in England c. 1820-1825, likely for the American market. Identical to American examples except for the distinct applied lip, & in this shade of glass - different from US flasks. Superb! Very good. (10/10) NR
