Group of three Qajar pottery objectsIran, early 20th Centurycomprising of a small baluster vase decorated with a courting couple sat in a garden, 18.5cm high, a flask decorated with deer and birds, 15.5cm high and a rosewater sprinkler with applied metal mounts and top, 21.5cm high (3)Vase has been cut down and grounded with several cracks and hairline cracks, chips etc. Flask has several cracks (possibly from the firing) along with chips around the neck of the vase and other condition issues. Rosewater sprinkler seems fine, some cracklure, staining etc.

Silver hip flask of rectangular form, 4.89 troy ozs approx. Together with a silver cigarette case, 5.4 troy ozs approx. Both presented to 'C Morgan-Richardson', the card case dated 1910, both with armorials to the front. (2) (B.P. 21% + VAT) Armorials and hallmarks are clear overall. Minor dinks to both items, but overall ok for age. Some tarnishing.

Group of vertu to include silver and cabochon mounted squat vase, London 1904, 7cm high, Liberty and Co., Continental 800 standard Art Nouveau desk seal, Victorian embossed silver scent flask by Sampson Morden & Co. London 1898, French silver vesta case and two other vesta cases, Victorian toothbrush, Art Nouveau glass scent bottle, enamel plaque buckle. (Qty). Provenance: By descent from Douglas Shepherd (1922-1989), a designer and architect working on public houses for the brewery firm Ind Coope. He was heavily influenced by and was a serious collector of Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau, including leading designers and artists such as Charles Ashlee and Jessie M King. He assembled a large collection from the 1950s to 1970s. His book collection was subsequently sold through Sotherby’s and in 2013 his magnificent silver collection by Archibald Knox and others was sold through these rooms.Please note there is no silver footed Art Nouveau dish in this lot

AN ELIZABETH II SILVER HIP FLASK OF BOWED RECTANGULAR FORM, fitted with a hinged bayonet cap with cork inner, engine turned decoration to the front and back with vacant rectangular cartouche, maker J B Chatterley & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1988, 7.06ozt, 219.9 grams, height 14.8cm, height excluding cap 12.5cm (Condition report: there is a short scratch on the front in the engine turning, cap has a small gap to the top turning section but holds liquid without leakage when tested with water)

AN ANTIQUE 16 BORE FLINTLOCK PISTOL FITTED WITH A 7¾” BRASS BARREL AND WALNUT STOCK, the early lock is indistinguishably marked and secured to the stock with a fretted side plate with two bolts, its brass trigger guard bears an acorn motif and its spurred butt cap bears a coat of arms on its base, its wrist has been broken through at some point in the past and was neatly repaired with a brass plate, its lock is in working condition however the swan neck cock bears a welded repair, the barrel bears commercial proof marks indicating it was proved at the Tower of London, its collective features and related proof marks date its production sometime during the last quarter of the 1700’s, it comes with an inert .50” Browning cartridge, an unnamed copper powder flask bearing a hanging game motif and lacks a cut off spring, a flintlock pistol made up from antique gun parts which has a damascus 16 bore 7 ¾” barrel, a lock marked Lowe fitted with a waterproof pan and a .22” rifle cleaning kit (5)
