152-192 AD. Obv: PAONANO PAO OOhPKI KOPANO legend with nimbate, diademed and crowned half-length bust of Huvishka left on clouds, holding mace-sceptre in right hand, corn-ear in left. Rev: OKPO legend with Siva, nimbate, standing left, pouring water from flask and holding thunderbolt, elephant goad, trident, and he-goat or antelope by the horns; tamgha in left field. BMC 97-99; MK 308; Cunningham 89. 7.91 grams. Very fine.

(26cms); an early 20th Century glass and EPBM flask, by James Dixon & Son, leather case, 8in. (20cms); and an early 20th Century glass spirit flask, with plated mounts; and a plated rectangular sandwich box, contained in leather case marked RHCE on cover, 6in. (15cms). (3)
An air cane with flask butt and 20 1/2in. black enamelled rifled barrel, with top lever operated tap loader, fitted shagreen covered traditional style stock, 39in. long overall; complete with pump and foot plate, steel bullet mould and modern replacement cocking key (repair next to cocking key aperture), in an associated oak case bearing the 'Thomas K. Baker, London' trade label.

A flask butt reservoir single shot tap loading .468 cal. un-named air gun, with 29 1/2in. smooth and octagonal two-stage barrel with outside hammer and spring, unusual round access plate to the sides of the action, short replaced fore-end with horn finial, the stock-shaped reservoir covered in later black leather, 48 1/2in. long overall.
A restored and re-made Austrian style flask-butt repeating breech loading smooth bore air gun, with 39in. round and octagonal section barrel, side mounted magazine, side mounted hammer with plain lockplates, brass action cover, beech fore-end and ramrod under, fitted conical butt flask with new brown leather cover and brass collar, spurious proof marks just forward of the breech, 55in. long overall.
A late 18th Century flask-butt outside lock un-named single shot pneumatic gun, the 37in. smooth bore screw-off barrel decorated with gold leaves to the breech, engraved scrolling lockplates, the lock with hammer cocking piece, heavy spring and valve trip lever under, the butt reservoir with hammered finish, 54in. long overall.
An early 19th Century Austrian style repeating flask-butt air rifle, by Staudenmayer, London, the 25 1/4in. .45 cal. octagonal rifled barrel inscribed in gold with maker's name to the breech, inlaid gold star motif above the tap loader, twenty shot magazine under with brass ramrod, cover plate with bypass lever missing and locking slide for flask-butt, a serpentine cocking piece with roller, further maker's inscription under the spring, with steel trigger guard and conical flask butt with original leather covering, c.1810, 42in. long overall.

A Carved Early 17th Century Powder Flask inset with an engraved bone oval panel either side depicting a portrait of a head, & a face mask, and having a pen-worked bone nozzle with bifoil stopper and rectangular base engraved with a crested shield on a ground of imbricated leaves, 6 ins (15 cms) in length, 4 ins (10 cms) wide, 1½ ins (4 cms) deep.

TRINITY HALL 1865, cased, a silver plated metal mounted spirit flask, a 9ct gold mounted cigarette holder with a case, nine one pound notes, D. Somerset issue, a ten shillings note, a brooch designed as a sword, a pendant designed as a bird and a plated chamber candlestick, with a snuffing cone.

A Mappin & Webb large silver hip flask, Birmingham 1932, 322 grams. Height 15.7 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The flask is in extremely good condition. The hinge is tight and the top closes and locks as it should. The body of the piece is in extremely good order with no significant issues other than very minor blemishes. The full hallmarks are clear and legible. The partial hallmarks to the collar below the stopper are legible but slightly rubbed. There are no engravings.
