A 19th century Indian / Ottoman Dhal, of typical convex circular form with four raised gilt bosses and further gilt decoration, the underside with remains of leather straps, dia. 36cm, together with a pair of early 20th century pressed metal Dhals, 40cm and an Ottoman metal studded leather clad moon flask, 20cm. Boxed late 18th Century flintlock pocket pistol with turn-off barrel, box lock action, safety catch, rifled barrel, vacant escutcheon set to chequered slab handle, engraved 'Charing Cross, London' (possibly by Knubley), 12cm long, in period fitted box with miniature shot flask, bullet mould grips etc, the box 18cm x 16cm x 5cm high Condition: General pitting to barrel. Mechanism not tested and sold as seen. General wear to engraving and infilling to oval cartouche. Typical knocks and wear to stock, overall wear commensurate with age and use. Box is possibly later-lined, has horizontal crack from left corner of lacquered brass cartouche to left side, further crack to front of body from upper left corner of escutcheon, a little shrinkage, general knocks and losses, overall fair to good - **General condition consistent with age
