A silver mounted and glass hip flask with leather holster The cylindrical bottle with a silver cup and a hinged fitting, silver hallmark London 1892, the leather holster of tapering cylindrical form, hinged cover complete with side straps. 23cms. CONDITION REPORT: The outer leather case, surface scratching, some bruising a star crack in the leather just beneath the leather strap with buckle, leather generally tired and requires feeding, the inner glass flash, sliver cup some rubbing to the hallmarks, some rubbing to the outer silver body and bruising to the base of the cup, some discolouration to the inner gilt work of the cup and minor scratching, some play in the hinge of the cover, some chips to the inner rim of the glass liner, glass may possibly not be original.

Chinese early 17th century - two Kraak style square section flasks with small cylindrical ribbed necks, one decorated with flowers, foliage and insects above rockwork, the other with two panels of birds and lotus in a watery landscape and two panels with flowers, foliage and insects above rockwork, 29.5 cm h. (2) Condition Report The flask with four panels of flowers and foliage has three areas of hairline cracks - there is an impressed area of porcelain towards the upper section of one panel which has a small star hairline crack radiating from it, with one line extending horizontally through two panels. There is another hairline on the corner of two panels horizontally two thirds from the top of a panel. Finally a crack on the corner of two panels near the base. Please refer to the images for clearer details. The second flask is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
