A 19th Century Leather-Covered, Pear-Shaped, Nickel Silver Powder Flask, two pairs of suspension rings to the sides, the charger stamped, ''W. Bartram'', 21.5 cm long; another, plain example, of faceted, shouldered rectangular form, 18 cm long; another, copper example, of plain bag form, the brass charger stamped, ''Bartram & Co.'', 17.5 cm long; and three others, plain brass and copper pear-shaped examples, two stamped, ''Dixon & Sons, Patent'', the largest 20.5 cm long (6). Leather - Degradation to leather with a number of repaired patches. Spring good. Faceted - Numerous small dings and dents to body with possible slight split to seam. Spring good. Bag - Numerous small dents and dings to body. Possible slight splits to seams. Spring good. Other three - All good overall. Springs good.

A 19th Century, American, Copper, Pear-Shaped Powder Flask, by John Matthewman, chased to one side with a pair of greyhounds amongst foliage and hunting emblems, two pairs of suspension rings to the sides, the brass charger stamped, ''J. Matthewman'', 20.5 cm long; another, similar flask, unnamed, 20 cm long; another, chased with a cannon, cannon balls and further weaponry superimposed on American flags and standards, 20 cm long, and another, similarly decorated brass example, probably a reproduction, 21.5 cm long (4). Matthewman - Slight dents overall to body with slight split to one side seam. Spring faulty Similar flask - Slight dent below nozzle. Otherwise good. Spring good. Third - Slight dents to body and some verdegris. Spring weak. Fourth - Good overall.

A Circular Brass Powder Flask, possibly Moroccan, relief with a trelliswork design to the obverse and engraved ornate circles to the reverse, twin ring handles to the neck, early 20th century, 16.5 cm long; another, possibly Spanish or Italian, leather-covered wood example, twin suspension rings to the reverse, 20th century, 21 cm long, and eight various continental and English leather, bag-type shot flasks, 19th century and later (10). Generally good order but firsthand inspection recommended.

Hawksley, Sheffield, the largest 11.5 cm long; three small brass, pear-shaped powder flasks, including two chased examples, the largest 16 cm long, and a further plated example, chased with a mythological figure of a naked man with trident amongst foliage, probably a reproduction, 15 cm long (10). Six pistol flasks - Named example with faulty spring. One other with faulty spring. One brass example with slight split to seam. Otherwise generally good. Three pear-shaped - All generally good. All springs working. Plated flask - Good overall. Spring working.

A 19th Century Brass Pear-Shaped Brass Powder Flask, chased to both sides with a starburst device, the charger stamped, James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, Improved Patent'', 21 cm long; another, unmarked example, chased to both sides with a shell-shaped device, 19.5 cm long; another, unmarked copper example, chased allover with ornamental devices, twin ring suspension loops to the sides, 21 cm long, and a further, American example, chased to both sides with game birds and a hound within an ornamental border, 18 cm long (4). First three with dents and dings but no splits. Dixon example rather worn on decoration. All springs good.

A 19th Century Horn and Brass-Mounted Powder Flask, of lozenge form, with flattened back, 18.5 cm long; a pear-shaped, tin example, chased to both sides with foliage, 20 cm long; another, brass, pear-shaped example, stamped, ''J. S. Riley Patenet'', the body chased to both sides with fluting and beading, 21 cm long, and a further lacquered brass example, with an allover chased design of foliage, lambrequins and fluting, 20 cm long (4). Last two described with small dents and dings but no splits. First two good overall. All with springs in good working order.

Patent Blunderbuss Percussion Pistol, No.415, with one piece cast brass barrel and lock (spring bayonet attachment lacking, barrel holed, other damages); a Small Quantity of Accessories, comprising a reproduction copper and brass powder flask; a ProChrono Velocity chronograph, original box; four various modern leather pistol holsters; a Price Western leather police belt pouch; a Crane Sports nylon double shotgun slip case (9). Pistol considerably damaged. Inspection recommended. Powder flask good overall. Chronograph in original box but not guaranteed in working order. Various holsters etc. - All in good condition. Nylon slip case good condition.

A Late 18th Century Officer's 15 Bore Flintlock Pistol by Theophilus Richards, London, the 23cm round steel barrel signed on the top flat and with Tower proof marks centred by TR, the signed lock plate with slide safety, walnut full stock with steel ramrod pipes, trigger guard with pineapple finial, with flat sided bag butt and horn mounted ebony ramrod with steel worm screw, 36cm; a Copper Powder Flask, of plain form, with external spring, brass charger stamped James Dixon & Son (2). Action works, holds at full and half cock. Grey patching and pitting to metalwork. Bruising to stock with two small cracks to the side of the fore-end near the muzzle. Smalll dents to flask.
