TRANTER’s PATENT, border and scroll engraved trigger guard, chequered wood grips, contained in its green baize lined, brass mounted mahogany case, complete with a japanned tin of W. Tranter’s Patent Lubricating Bullets, a japanned tin of W. Tranter’s Lubricating Composition, a japanned tin of Eley’s Superior Sporting Percussion Caps, turn screw, nipple key, wad punch, cleaning rod, Hawksley flask, James-Dixon & Sons pewter oil bottle and a rare set of original William Tranter’s Patent Double-Action Cocking Revolver Instructions for Loading. Early 20th century white metal (stamped - Sterling) mounted glass spirit flask with pierced Art Nouveau-style decoration and engraved initials, hinged bayonet fastening cap and detachable drinking cup, underside with pseudo Birmingham marks and stamped - D1275 ½ pint, 16cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition good. Some minor surface scratching. Pierced decoration is complete. No signs of splits or repair. Cover is badly dented on one edge of top. Cup is good. Minor wear and surface scratching. Gilding worn in places
