Complete with original partitioned cardboard box, with original starred-style flask, loader and mold. Condition: Barrel retains 60% of the original blue finish with some fading to a plum. Cylinder has about 40% of the original blue finish thinning to brown. Frame is a nice brown mixing with some traces of blue in the protected areas. All markings are very sharp and crisp. Boxed second model Beals are very scarce; this particular box is one of five known to exist. Condition: Revolver is very sharp and crisp with a grey to brown patina. Flask is excelellnt. Eagle shield flask, brass mold, loader with cleaning rod; original partitioned cardboard box. Condition: All metal is sharp and crisp. Barrel retains 40% of the original blue thinning and turning brown. Frame has some traces of blue finish in the protected areas; the rest is thinning to a nice patina brown. Cylinder is excellent with a nice plum color and crisp etched panel. Excellent checkered gutta percha grips. Box has some scuffing and some of the seams are slightly loose. We have only seen two original cardboard boxed Remington Beals Navy revolvers. They are very rare. Condition: Barrel and cylinder retain 80% of the original blue finish thinning and turning plum. Cylinder retains 60% of the orginal blue finish with some brown patina. Frame retains 70% of the original blue finish with some flaking. Brass triggerguard retains 80% of the original silver-plated finish with some flaking. Grips are excellent. Case is in excellent condition with flask retaining most of the original lacquered finish. Mold retains 80% of the bright original blue finish. Pack of cartridges are unoopened and covered in plastic to protect them. This is a very fine set.Starting Price: $3000

Cased Model 1849 Colt Percussion Revolver.31 caliber, 4" barrel with single-line New York address, S/N 188744. Five-shot, all numbers match, silver-plated backstrap and triggerguard. One-piece walnut grips. Mahogany wood case with red velvet lining, eagle shield flask, mold and key for the case. Condition: Case is excellent. Lining has some wear where the pistol was lying leaving the cylinder and barrel imprint. Flask is almost mint with all of the blue on the spring and a very tiny dint, still retains most of the original applied lacquer. Mold retains 95% of the original blue finish with just a little brown flaking on the sprue cutter. Barrel retains 98% of the original blue finish; cylinder retains 90+ of the original blue finish, losing a little on the front edge and on the shoulders of the cylinder. Retaining 100% of the cylinder scene. Loading lever has 98% of the original case colors, frame retains 95% of the original case colors losing a little on the edges of the recoil shield. Backstrap and triggerguard retain 96% of the original silver-plated finish with just a little brass popping through on the edges. Walnut grips retain 100% of the varnished finish with couple very minute dents. This is a very strong case 4" 1849 pocket Colt.Starting Price: $3000
