A pair of flintlock duelling pistols by ‘Patrick of Liverpool’ circa 1800 the 8.75 inch octagonal steel barrel with damascus twist figuring maker’s tablet to breech swan neck hammer conforming side lock with push on safety spur trigger guard (with original blueing) walnut stock with diced grip each with ramrod in a period mahogany case with brass recessed carrying handle the hinged lid enclosing lined interior various compartments copper and brass pistol flask and other accessories
A late 19th Century moon flask decanter possibly by Thomas Webbs, the circular folded foot rising to a compressed circular body with tall collar neck, roll rim and conforming blown stopper, the whole cased in cranberry over clear crystal and intaglio cut with a central Bacchus face mask with horns and fruiting vines within a hollow oval lozenge border, the shoulders further decorated with a repeat acanthus scroll surrounded by vines and to the reverse a foliate star, the stopper and foot detailed with conforming motifs, possibly by James O'Fallon, height 11.5'.
A pair of Urbino-style Maiolica pilgrim flasks and covers late 19th century both painted with a continuous mythological scene one depicting four soldiers carrying banners in a river landscape with distant mountains and buildings the scene repeated on the reverse the other with the conquest of a fort with soldiers storming the city-walls each flask applied with horned masks handle both footrims pierced twice . 39cm. 15.25in. high overall one with broken screw the second with chipped screw and restored footrim (4)
