A GOOD LARGE CHINESE UNDERGLAZE-BLUE & COPPER-RED PORCELAIN MOON FLASK, each side decorated with panels of the Eight Buddhist Emblems radiating from a central raised circular boss, the edges with scroll and leaf stemmed lotus beneath double scroll handles, the base with a Qianlong seal mark, 18.75in high.

A cased 6 shot 54 bore Witton & Daw type open wedge frame single action long spur percussion revolver by Beattie, 13¼” overall, octagonal barrel 6” engraved “James Beattie, 205 Regent Street, London”, with unusual horizontally acting rammer, reciprocating cylinder, scroll engraved frame and trigger guard, finely chequered walnut butt with vacant escutcheon, and steel butt cap with sprung trap. GWO & C, retaining traces of original blued finish to barrel; in its green baize lined fitted mahogany case with brass lid escutcheon and maker’s trade label (damaged), containing a good bag shaped copper flask by Sykes retaining most original lacquered finish (patches of corrosion), brass mounted wooden cleaning rod, special type ebony handled nipple key, pewter oil bottle and key to case.
