Dying without issue, some items from her estate went to her niece by marriage, Caroline of Hesse-Homburg (1819-1872), who married Prince Heinrich XX of Reuss zu Greiz. Thence by family descent.

A pair of late 18th Century 20 bore duelling pistols, by H. W. Mortimer, slightly swamped sighted octagonal barrels 10 in., top flats engraved 'H.W. MORTIMER - LONDON - GUNMAKER TO HIS MAJESTY', hooked breeches, London proof marks and maker's mark to the undersides of the breeches, acanthus engraved tangs; locks engraved 'H.W. MORTIMER', frizzens with rollers acting on the springs, safety bars; full stocks with steel furniture, fat sided grips with diamond lattice chequering punctuated by flower heads, horn tipped ram rod with worm to one - the other with later steel tipped ram rod; in a baize lined fitted case with associated combination flask (holding powder, balls and flints) and ball mould. A cased Beaumont Adams 54 bore five-shot revolver, top flat engraved 'ROBERT ADAMS. 76 KING WILLIAM STREET, LONDON', border engraved solid frame marked 'ADAMS PATENT' and numbered 40499 (number repeated on cylinder), Birmingham proof marks, chequered one-piece grip; fitted oak case lined in green baize and with Adams Trade label to the lid, with contemporary accessories including cleaning rod, bullet mould, powder flask, and oiler bottle. Dating from the period 1858-65, when Robert Adams, having broken with the London Armoury Company, re-established his independent retail business at 76 King William Street. References: Howard L. A lead ampulla pilgrim flask in the form of a small vessel with handles to the side, rounded base; decorated to one side with a fleur-de-lys with a scalloped border; to the reverse a sun-burst with dots between each ray. 113 grams, 61mm (2 1/4"). From the family collection of a London gentleman; formed in the late 1940s-1950s; thence by descent. Fine condition.
12th-6th century BC. A drum-shaped ceramic flask with domed faces, loop to each shoulder, broad neck with chamfered rim, red and black concentric circles to each broad face and hatched panels. Cf. Amiran, R. Ancient Pottery of the Holy Land, Jerusalem, 1963, p.276ff. 1.5 kg, 29cm (11 1/2"). From a German collection; acquired on the German art market before 1990. [No Reserve] Fine condition.

A bronze balsamarium flask with stoppered lid with conical body and round base attached to ring by a chain, ring attached to handles of vessel by two chains; round, cupped rim with flat top and short neck; flat shoulder with to small handles attached in the form of miniature dolphin brooches; body tapering to flat base and decorated with series of horizontal lines; to side of vessel a plaited chain with large suspension ring. 319 grams, 17cm (6 3/4"). Formerly in an old German collection formed between 1980 and 1990. Fine condition.
4th-5th century AD. A glass flask with dimple base, globular body, flared rim. Cf. Whitehouse, D. Roman Glass in the Corning Museum of Glass, vol.1, New York, 1997, item 312. 44 grams, 13.5cm (5 1/4"). Property of a London collector; formerly acquired on the UK art market prior to 2000.
