Original Pistol/Revolver case circa. 1850-60 with accessories. A polished mahogany gunsmith made revolver case, most likely for a medium size Tranter or Beaumont Adams Percussion Revolver. Accessories include a good plain brass nozzled, bag shaped, copper pistol flask. A good Pewter oil bottle by James Dixon and Sons Sheffield. An ebony handled nipple wrench an old tin of Joyce Caps and a bullet mould. Original green baize lining in GC for age. Circular brass escutcheon to lid, key missing. Note, this is a revolver case and NOT a converted cutlery case. Dimensions 13" x 7"

dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: USA, Octagonal, rifled, cal. 36 barrel, marked 'ADDRESS SAM.L COLT HARTFORD CT.', with cusped fore-sight, traces of antique finishing, London test-bed stamps. Six-shot cylinder, engraved with well visible naval battle and with caption, test-bed stamps and serial number. Frame with traces of antique finishing, marked 'COLTS PATENT'. In good working order. Smooth, walnut grip with iron bands and trigger-guard. In a wooden case (lock not working), lined with rose velvet inside, provided with a label on the cover, with instructions for use of colt revolver and provided with bullet mold marked Colt. One powder flask of James Dixon marked 'COLTS NAVY FLASK', a box for primers, a ramrod, a spare spring and screwdriver with nipple wrench. length 33 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: Edinburgh, Octagonal, 9 mm cal. barrel, with fore-sight, London test-bed stamps. Smooth, five-shot cylinder. Frame with outlines. Patent marking. 'DICKSON & SON 63 PRINCES ST. T. EDINBURGH' on the back. Finely checkered, wooden grip. In working order. 40% of antique blueing. In a case with John Dickson & Son label on the cover. Green, cloth lining inside (signs of use and time) with a flask, bullet mold, oil flask and two tools. Latch with a lock with no key. length 24 cm.
dating: Third quarter of the 19th Century provenance: USA, Octagonal, rifled, 5', cal. 36 barrel, with fore-sight and company's marking on the back, with patents. Five-shot cylinder, with recessed tang. In working order. Re nickel-plated. Walnut grip. Mono-number '37xx'. In a wooden case, lined with red cloth inside, with powder flask and bullet mold. length 25 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: London, Smooth-bore, round, juxtaposed, 10 mm cal. barrels, with rib and fore-sight, with London test-bed stamps; tang signed 'W. BOND 59 Lombard St. LONDON', engraved with floral motifs and provided with a rear sight. Frame engraved en suite so as all the mounts. Wooden, micro-checkered butt, butt-plate with nipple compartment. Back with silver escutcheon engraved with a small dragon. Iron, articulated ramrod. In a wooden case, lined with green cloth, with re-seller and producer's J. H. Cane label, provided with a bronze flask, bullet mold, cartridge extractor and key. length 20.5 cm.
dating: Mid 19th Century provenance: Belgium, Octagonal, rifled, 14 mm cal. barrel, in damask, with fore-sight, with slightly bell-mouthed nozzle. Breeches engraved with rinceaux and piston with spark arrester. Barrel's tangs engraved with rinceaux and with fix rear sight. Forward spring locks, well functioning; plates engraved with rinceaux. Three quarters stocks, with grooved grip. Iron mounts. Butt-plates with primer case and swiveling cover on the side. Trigger-guards with finger support. Iron ramrods. In a case of recent production, complete with some tools, among which a flask, two ramrods and bullet mold. length 32 cm.
