A Fang gunpowder flask Gabon wood, sheet brass, reptile skin and brass studs, of ovoid form with remains of linear decoration and with a wide circular cover, 18.5cm long, and a Jarawa headboard, with incised decoration, used for balancing and carrying objects on the head, 47cm long. A Meissen scent flask c.1730, of flattened circular form, finely painted with a continuous harbour landscape, depicting figures unloading boats, setting sail and talking at the water's edge, the tapering neck moulded with flutes and highlighted in puce, orange and gilt, with metal mounts to the neck and foot, blue crossed swords mark, 9.5cm.

Case hardened barrel cluster of six with stiff leaf decoration around muzzles and proofed with English proofs between each barrel. Removable nipples around ring at breech. Case hardened and scroll engraved top hammer double action mechanism. Scroll engraved trigger guard bow and buttcap with compartment for spare nipples. Top of action tang engraved "DOOLEY / BANELAGH ST / LIVERPOOL". Engraved screw heads on tang and barrels. Figured one piece grips with fine checkering and octagonal vacant German silver wrist escutcheon. Rosewood case with vacant round brass plaque on lid and partitioned interior with ivory knob on lid, complete with bronze "SYKES" marked powder flask, rosewood and brass ramrod/cleaning rod, and nipple removal wrench. Interior lid features original paper label reading "W.M. DOOLEY / GUNMAKER / LIVERPOOL" and displaying a scene of a hunter with two dogs. Excellent condition; all steel components retain 90-95% bright case colors, some brown patina and freckling on barrels which rest against case. Appears to have seen little or no use. Trigger with traces of fire blue. Grip is excellent with sharp checkering. Tang screw has been replaced. Action is tight and bores are excellent. Case is good; lid has some dark areas around edges and escutcheon, some scattered dents and scratches. Red velour partitioned interior shows some fading and has some areas on bottom worn through from placement of items and a couple small tears from barrels. Accessories excellent. Cluster of six smoothbore blued barrels with polished muzzle faces and stiff leaf engraving around muzzles. Each barrel separated by solid blued rib, and proofed with alternating crown over "P" or crown over "V" English proof marks. Each barrel fitted with a nipple around ring at breech. Case hardened double action over hammer mechanism engraved on each side with detailed scrolls with steel trigger guard also engraved en suite and fire blued thumb safety. Left side of action engraved "JOHN BLISSETT / 322 HIGH HOLBORN / LONDON" in an oval surrounded by engraving. One piece checkered figured walnut grip with diamond section checkering around silver vacant oval wrist escutcheon on spine, and case hardened butt cap with cavity for extra nipples and flower engraved on lid. Complete with original red velour lined fitted English case with small bronze flask and nipple remover wrench and key. Rosewood case has brass corners, round key escutcheon and vacant round plaque on top of lid. Excellent condition; barrels retain 95% plus original bright blue finish. Nipples show little to no use. Action, trigger guard and butt cap retain 70% or better original case hardening with some areas on left side turning to grey from exposure to light. Trigger and safety retain 60-70% fire blued finish. Grip excellent with sharp engraving. Case excellent with a few scattered scratches on top, interior shows significant fading from light exposure, and some minor scuffs and wear from use. Bullet mold is missing. Accessories excellent. This revolver and matching case were sold by William Moore & Grey 43 Old Bond St, London and is so stamped on top of frame and on trade label. Features an octagon barrel, six shot, double action, percussion, blued finish and checkered walnut grips. Pistol has double Tranter patent stamps. Cylinder has English proofs. Has a spurless hammer. Basically a smooth brown-grey patina. Cylinder has some salt and pepper texture. Strong rifled bore. Indexes and locks up perfectly, and has original nipples. Housed in a period, wooden dealer case with faded green lining. Comes with a tin of W. Tranter Lubricating Bullets, a tin of Tranter Lubricating Cream, a tin of F. Joyce London Percussion Caps, a small brass James Dickson copper powder flask, wood handle brass tip cleaning jag, ebony handle nipple wrench, nickel oil bottle, original key and a Tranter's patent double cavity brass bullet mold. Some one went through some great pains to recreate a historically accurate Colt martially marked First Model Dragoon. Revolver has all matching numbers. Cylinder has been etched with Dragoon scene. Numerous military type inspector mark "T" on barrel, trigger guard and cylinder. Colt New York address on barrel. Nickel plated square back trigger guard with 70% nickel. Walnut stocks have cartouche on left and right sides, slightly shy to metal. Barrel is a mix of blue-brown. Traces of color on lever. Frame has patterned out. Most of the screws have some sort of marring but could be re-cut. Strong clean bore and perfect action. This revolver has a great look. No visible Italian markings. Comes in a homemade walnut carry case with paper label, old powder flask, bullet mold, pack of reproduction cartridges and cleaning rod. Two screw tip powder horns including a very nice Center County screw tip powder horn with red stained domed butt showing a turned bead at base and having a wide staple and thorn attachment method. For a nearly identical example see page 271 and 272 of "Pennsylvania Horns of the Trade" by Arthur J. DeCamp. This horn has its original beehive turned screw tip with the chased male threads on the spout of the horn and the non-tapered hole in the horn spout. Excellent condition; a few insect damage marks not penetrating through the outside wall and a few scattered marks on plug. The second screw tip horn is a small Reading-area Berks County horn with beehive collar and original tapered turned screw tip spout, large tapered dome butt with wooden knob at top. Good condition; still retains original collar and screw tip. Dark patina to body with some very dark staining in one area towards butt. Butt is missing about a 2" chip on one side. Knob also has some losses. Also includes three other horns; two of which have bulbous wooden plugs with wooden knobs, one turned and having a wooden spout. One horn has some losses to body from insect damage, the other two are very good but showing some marks from use. Also includes a bronze flask with embossed scenes of dead game on both sides and brass powder measure spout on top. One dent on bottom of left side and some separation at seam on bottom. Otherwise excellent with dark patina. Serial Number-N/A;
