A cased pair of 22-bore flintlock duelling pistols by Joseph Gulley, 9.25inch sighted octagonal barrels with broad gold lined breeches and set with gold maker's tablet for GULLEY LONDON, the barrel tangs engraved with a stand of arms, border engraved stepped and bolted locks signed GULLEY and set with small roller frizzens, full stocked with border engraved steel mounts, the trigger guards with over size pineapple finials, vacant oval white metal escutcheons, one horn capped wooden ramrod the other wood with powder measure terminal, contained in their green baize lined mahogany case with flush fitting brass handle, complete with three-way powder flask, starting rod, bullet mould and pan brush. The case relined and with copy label. Joseph Gulley, London 1800-1830.
A cased pair of 22-bore flintlock duelling pistols by Richards, 9.5inch sighted octagonal barrels engraved INO RICHARDS STRAND LONDON, border engraved stepped and bolted locks signed RICHARDS, set triggers, half stocked with horn fore-ends, border engraved steel mounts, the trigger guards decorated with stands of arms and with pineapple terminals, chequered bag-shaped butts, horn capped wooden ramrods, contained in their relined mahogany case with various accessories to include a three-way flask.
A Scottish horn Powder Flask, 16cm polished natural form body with sprung brass top and later brass elongated nozzle, the wooden base with chequer strung inlay and inked owners name J. Finlater and Cairney, probably the Reverend J Finlater who resided in Cairney, together with a further Scottish flattened and polished horn powder flask, nozzle lacking. (2)
A .650 calibre percussion model 1844 Yeomanry Cavalry carbine, 20inch sighted barrel, border engraved lock, stamped with a crown over TOWER, full stocked with regulation brass mounts, saddle bar mounted to the left side, swivel ramrod, together with a Bukta Bowie type knife with sheath, a copper powder flask and a leather shot flask. Carbine with pitting to barrel and lock and repair to stock. (4)

Garneau Co. New York.

A large pewter flask with rectangular body, tubular neck and lid with attachment ring; to one side a low-relief motif of St. Mary and infant Jesus, to the other side St. George riding a horse and slaying a dragon. 582 grams, 15.5cm (6"). In its wooden case lined with blue velvet (damaged compartments), provided with powder flask with bullet holder, bullet mold and other. length 21.5 cm.
dating: 1860-70 provenance: France, Straight, double-edged blade with double groove, ribbed in the center, base with Klingenthal marking and stamps. Exceptional, silver grip portraying a hunter with helmet, powder flask and bag that is hitting a bear at his feet with the butt of his hunting percussion gun, Wooden, leather-covered scabbard with silver mounts, engraved and partially gilded with bands and floral motifs, the hook decorated with an owl's head above with a medallion with monogram and hunting horn; the chape with hunting still life in high-relief. length 63.5 cm.
