Burton Crosbee, monogram F.W.W approx 9 x 12.5 cms, 178.9 gms; together with a miniature hip flask, approx 4 x 6.5 cms approx 25.5 gms and a silver cigarette case Birmingham hallmark, dated 1935, mm Robert Pringle & Sons, engraved J. Ball Stanton 7/12/35.Note: uneven left hand side lower corner; the miniature hip flask has pin prick to the cover and a bruise to left lower corner. The cigarette case has shallow bruises and deeper dent near the bottom right extremity, please see additional images they form part of the report.

A George V silver hip flask by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1923, of rounded rectangular form hinged bayonet lid, detachable stirrup cup with gilt interior, 14cm long, 9cm wide, weight 8.49oztCondition Report; Overall condition is good. There is heavy denting to the lid, some heavy denting to the edges and corners of the flask, and some small denting to the cup (concentrated at the edges and corners). There is moderate scratching to the exterior, with two big scratches to the front. No splitting or signs of repair.Gilt interior to the cup is in good order, but there are losses around the corners from frequent contact.Cork is still present to lid, but is split and has some loss. Bayonet clasp fastening is in working order, opening and closing smoothly and locking securely.Hallmarks are crisp.There are no inscriptions or monograms to this piece.The flask is water tight.

A Dewar's whiskey flask in Kingsware glaze with a pipe major - leading military pipe band. Text reads "The Pipe Major." Original cork stopper with metal cap.Doulton stamp and Dewar's whiskey stamp. The pipe major is the leading musician of a pipe band, whether military or civilian. Like the appointment of drum major, the position is derived from British Army traditions. During the early twentieth century, the term sergeant piper was used instead.
