CASED PAIR OF DUELLING PISTOLS EARLY 19TH CENTURY with pierced cocks, safety slide locks, set triggers, rainproof pans, friction rollers, the engraved bevelled locks and top flat of the octagonal barrels signed Bennett & Lacy, London, gold line at breechs, well figured walnut tapering half stocks with blank silver escutcheon, fore end caps, silver barrel bolt escutcheons fine chequered butts, engraved trigger guards with pineapple finials retaining some colour, original brass tipped ram rods; the original relined mahogany case with flat folding brass handle, lock and key, pistol flask covered in red morocco and container for lead balls, ebony topped loading rod and some flints Note: Bennett & Lacy were in business in London at 67 Threadneedle Street London 1809-1811.
