A late 19th Century Stevens & Williams "Transparent Cameo" decanter and stopper by Joshua Hodgetts c.1897, the compressed ovoid flask form body rising to a collar neck with applied white metal collar below a tear form stopper. The whole cased in deep green over clear crystal and cut back with a running vine with large passion flower between classical scroll work borders, height 28.5cm. ILLUSTRATED. A small post-Roman pale bluish-green glass flask with a flattened globular body, the short narrow neck with a bulbous opening and decorated at the bottom with a continuous trail in amber-coloured glass to create two loop handles and a wavy collar, cream-coloured weathering on the interior, Syria, 6th-8th century AD, 6 cm high.
