A 19th Century Indo-Persian Snaphance Holster Pistol, the 36 cm barrel etched to the breech, single broad brass band with pinstruck and wrigglework decoration, the lock with silver inlay and possibly stamped with a maker's mark, the full wood stock with silver wire inlay around the breech and to the butt, engraved brass butt plate, wood ramrod; a Copper Powder Flask, by C. & J.W. Hawksley, Sheffield, the sides repousse decorated with fluting, foliage and other devices, with external spring and brass charger (2) Pistol generally good. Some rusting and pitting to steel parts. Several cracks to stock and slight loss at butt. Action not cocking. Powder flask spring broken. Otherwise good overall.

A Colt Model 1860 Style Army .44 Calibre Six Shot Percussion Revolver, with 20cm unmarked cylindrical steel barrel, plain rebated steel cylinder, creeping style loading lever, brass trigger guard and walnut grip scales, all metal parts numbered 12042, in an oak case, the green baize lined interior fitted with accessories including a copper powder flask, a bullet mould, cap tin, oil flask, turnscrew/nipple key etc; a 19th Century American Powder Horn, with scrimshaw decoration of a bloodhound, with cork stopper (2)The metalwork of the revolver has been refinished. There are no visible maker's markings. The action does not work properly, the cylinder engages and rotates, but the hammer will not cock fully. The powder flask is very corroded and pitted to the underside. The bullet mould is modern.

Allen Thurber & Co percussion bar hammer action pistol with engraved lock, shaped walnut grip, hammer stamped 'Allen's Patent 1845' and named 5 inch two stage part octagonal barrel stamped 665, overall length 22cm, in felt lined fitted mahogany box with bullet mould, percussion cap tin and copper and brass powder flask embossed with an eagle holding a revolver 11cm long.

Overall length 105cm, serial number 2198, in fitted wooden box with original maker's label, brass mounted horn powder flask, leather and brass shot flask, cleaning rod, wad punch etc. The crest engraved to the cartouche features a crown which using the British coronet ranking system would imply that it was either made for or previously owned by a Viscountess. The gun featured in Sporting Gun magazine in December 2014.
