A 19th century Chinese moon flask, decorated with dragons. Height 21 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top of the vase has a hairline crack running down from the rim for +/- 2 cm. The crack then spreads to the left and round above the top of the handle and right up to the top lip on the opposite side. It has probably been broken at this point although the line is very faint. From the bottom of the initial crack there is a further crack running around and above the top of the other handle back to the top of the vase. Again, this piece may well have been broken and reattached. The top of one of the handles has been broken off and reattached. The other handle is in good order. The remainder of the piece is in good condition with the exception of one small firing mark to one side.
