A fine cased pair of mid 19th Century percussion overcoat pistols by Baker of London, each having a sighted three-inch 26-bore barrel, captive ram rod, "dolphin" hammer and finely checkered walnut butt with inset German silver vacant escutcheon, bearing engraved foliate scroll decoration and retaining their original cased-hardened and blued finish, cased alongside a powder flask, oil bottle, turnscrew and nipple key, cleaning rod, mould, caps tin and shot, 19 cm overall
Porcelain moon flask shaped snuff bottle Chinese, late 19th Century decorated with circular panels decorated figures of children set in garden landscapes playing, some with symbolic objects or playing musical instruments, sides moulded with flower and foliage in gilt on green ground, foot with four character Qianlong Zhuanshu seal marks in red and with aventurine stopper and two stoppers pink glass and mottled green jade
A George V silver hip flask (by James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield 1921), the removable base with gilt-washed interior as cup, 13 cm high, total weight approx 7 oz CONDITION REPORTS No visable signs of any dents, splits or damage though there is surface scratching though out conducive to age and use, the top appears to work and shuts tight, see images for futher details. No dents or dings, minor scratches to the surface conducive with age and use. To one edge there is a slight dark line which may possibly be a repair though might alos be part of the original construction as this solder line is continued at the top of the shoulder - see images. There is a very small light surface dent on the same side - see images.
Early 2nd millennium AD. A terracotta discoid flask with central roundel and concentric rings to each face, loop handles to the shoulders and ribbed neck. 480 grams, 17cm (6 3/4"). From an important central London collection formed since the mid 1960s; thence by descent. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
19th century AD. A white metal biconvex flask with concentric bands of reserved animals and tendrils, five bosses, tapering spout, suspension chain. 228 grams, 28cm (11"). Property of a North West London gentleman; part of his father's collection formed during the 1980s. [No Reserve] Fine condition.
5th century AD. An iridescent aqua glass drum-shaped flask with applied trumpet-shaped rim to the neck, applied trail collar and lateral loop handles to the shoulder. 312 grams, 20cm (8"). From a private Belgian collection; previously part of a private collection formed in Germany in the 1990s. Very fine condition.
3rd-4th century AD. A tall aqua glass flask with domed disc base, piriform body and slightly flared neck; applied blue glass collar below the rim, two lateral loop handles joined by a second collar and crimped linear trails extending to flattened lobes. Cf. Lightfoot, C.S., Ancient Glass in National Museums Scotland, Edinburgh, 2007, items 224, 302, for type. 174 grams, 20cm (8"). From a private Belgian collection; previously part of a private collection formed in Germany in the 1990s. Very fine condition.

JAMES DIXON & SONS A SILVER MOUNTED SPIRIT FLASK, with leather cover, having bayonet twist cap and removable cup base, Sheffield 1953 Condition Report – screw cap works well, leather shoulders good, the glass is good, no chips / cracks, residue in the bottom of the flask, removable cap / base, scratches of use, a few small dents, no obvious signs an inscription has been removed. 9.5cm wide, 15.5cm high.

A 19th century Balkan brown leather covered powder flask, of triangular section tear drop form, the two outer sides bordered and patterned with brass studs, short, heavy quality brass suspension chain, turned bone nozzle and brass stopper, 12½” overall; and an iron flint striker. GC Flask Plate 29
A 6 shot .36” Colt Model 1851 Navy percussion revolver, barrel 7½” with London address; London proved; number 32590 (1855) on all parts, including rammer and barrel wedge; the frame stamped with large number F(or E) 16055; with varnished grips. GWO & basically GC (worn overall with dull grey finish and some pitting to rammer, no cylinder scene visible); in its green baize lined fitted oak case with instruction label in the lid, containing double cavity steel bullet mould (slightly pitted), Eley cap tin for “Colts Belt and Pocket Pistols”, pewter oil bottle, and reproduction flask, nipple key and oil bottle. Generally GC (lining worn, instruction label stained, the case externally refinished and varnished, the hinges weak) Plate 30 .
A green baize lined fitted oak case for an Adams percussion revolver, with trade label of R Adams, 76 King William Street, London, Patentee of the Revolver, “also of the New Breech Loader”, containing Adams marked double cavity 54 bore bronze mould (slightly battered), nipple key with pricker, pewter oil bottle, Joyce cap tin, copper flask, and turnscrew. Basically GC (some wear to case, lid escutcheon missing)
A 6 shot 140 bore self cocking bar hammer percussion pepperbox revolver, barrels 2¾” with B’ham proofs, with plain rounded frame and finely chequered walnut grips. WO & GC (action requires slight attention, cleaned bright with patches of rust staining); in a green baize lined fitted rosewood veneered case, with elaborate brass lid escutcheon, containing a steel pincer mould with rammer on one arm (slightly pitted), and a good reproduction copper flask.
