Finished in special order Sunrise over Barley and Autumn Hides. Delectable with full Bentley History The Bentley Arnage was launched in 1998, replacing the Bentley Turbo which had offered sterling service for many years. Built by Bentley Motors in Crewe from 1998 to 2009, the Arnage and its Rolls-Royce sibling, the Silver Seraph, were introduced in the Spring of 1998 and were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980, when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models had been introduced. The new Arnage was designed to be powered by a new state-of-the-art BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered twin-turbochargers and was designated the Arnage Green Label. The Arnage Red Label was launched in October 1999 and, for a number of reasons, reverted back to Bentley power using the traditional V8 engine, with a displacement of 6,750cc.Finished in special order Sunrise with Barley and secondary Autumn Hide, this exceptional Arnage stands out from the crowd, not simply due to the stunning colour scheme but also its overall stunning condition. It was first registered in January 2000 with the Cherished Registration Number, BH 4 (no longer assigned). The extensive specification points towards a fastidious owner with many of the extra boxes ticked upon ordering, such as the Burr Walnut interior complemented by the discreet 'Flying Bs', the picnic tables, the matching veneered door panels, the extended seat runners, rear companion mirrors, rear hand straps, the tilt and slide sunroof and the Lambswool over-mats, with final touches such as the silver hip flask and four glasses, creating an air of elegance that only a Bentley can provide. Even the dual umbrellas, specified from new, still reside in the luggage compartment. Externally, the chrome grille, waist-rail motifs and fine-line detailing are subtle, yet lift the overall appearance without being obtrusive. It has just been serviced by Bentley Leicester and provided with a fresh MOT confirming the outstanding condition and continued fastidious ownership. There is little paperwork to accompany the Arnage due to minimal use on the Isle of Man, however the comprehensive service history is detailed as follows ;41 Miles – JCT 6006,044 Miles – JCT 60010,893 Miles – JCT 60013,714 – JCT 60017,535 – JCT 60018,795 – JCT 60034,790 – Starmar Bentley36,392 – Bentley LeicesterThe indicated mileage at the time of viewing was 36,461.These commanding cars offer an unprecedented level of comfort and effortlessly cover the miles in the most luxurious of settings, turning every journey into an occasion.
