WW1 British Officers medal group and shrapnel damaged items belonging to Lt. ON Sidebottom, (Cheshire Regt) comprising of War Medal 1914-18 and the Victory Medal complete with ribbons in unworn condition. Together with his sharpnel damaged hip flask and the belt buckle section from his Sam Brown belt which still carries a large piece of shrapnel embedded through the leather and breaking the brass buckle. Lt Sidebottom lost an arm but survived the war.
