An Imperial German souvenir of military service spirit flask, the flattened circular glass liner with outer cover of pressed aluminium depicting airships, aircraft (Flugmaschin), crossed cannon, anchor, etc, with central painted and brass overlaid panels, coloured hanging cords and screw on cap with pewter depiction of airman on a primitive aircraft. A Belgian made 5 shot 54 bore Adams Model 1851 self cocking percussion revolver, 11½” overall, barrel 6½”, Liege proved, the frame stamped with crowned “PF” maker’s mark and “Adams Patent 1851” and engraved “Adams Patent No 10154”, originally with rammer on left of barrel (now removed), chequered walnut butt. GWO & C, nicely cleaned overall; in its English green baize lined fitted oak case, containing Dixon bag shaped copper flask (GO&C), a Continental double cavity steel mould for bullet and ball (cleaned), 54 bore wad punch, card box of French percussion caps with printed labels, pewter oil bottle and reproduction cleaning rod and Colt type nipple key/turnscrew.
