Two-piece checkered gutta percha grips. Original partitioned cardboard box, flask, mold, loader. Condition: Barrel retains 95% of the bright original blue finish. Frame retains 60% of the original bright blue finish with the rest thinning and turning plum. Cylinder still retains most of the original blue finish. Hammer retains most of the case coloring. Top of barrel marked Beals patent Sept 14, 18589, Manufactured By Remington`s Ilion New York. In the original partitioned cardboard box with black marbled paper; original dog flask, brass mold with iron sprue cutter, cleaning rod with brass loader, "L"-shaped percussion nipple wrench, original pack of paper cartridges. We have only seen two original cardboard boxed Remington Beals Navy revolvers. They are very rare. Condition: Barrel and cylinder retain 80% of the original blue finish thinning and turning plum. Frame is very sharp and crisp with traces of blue finish; the rest is a nice plum. Grips are excellent. Box and accessories are excellent.Starting Price: $4500

Pictured on page 77 of Remington`s First Revolver by Charles Schif (2007). He states this is the only known example of a recessed case Third Model Beals. Condition: Barrel, cylinder and loading lever retain 75% of the original blue finish thinning and has some very minute brown specks.Frame is mostly a nice untouched patina with some traces of blue in the protected areas. Partitioned factory mahogany case with eagle and shield flask with Remington banner; brass mold with no spruce cutter; pack of paper cartridges, loading tool with cleaning rod. Revolver is pictured on page 70 of Remington`s First Revolver by Charles Schif (2007). Condition: Case is excellent; lining has faded some. Flask is excellent retaining most of the original lacquered finish. One very small dent at the bottom. Barrel retains 90% of the bright original blue finish. Some light scratches to the blue finish on the right side of barrel. Cylinder retains 60% of the bright original blue finish with some scratches and flaking to plum. Frame retains 60% of the original blue finish fading to plum. Grips are excellent.Starting Price: $2000

Condition: All metal is smooth and brown with some traces of blue. Grips are excellent. He refers to this as a dealer casing. Condition: Barrel and cylinder with traces of blue finish fading to a plum. Frame is a nice untouched brown with some minute traces of blue around the hand. Mahogany case, original dog flask with tilted spout, steel mold with spruce cutter, brass head cleaning rod tip, pack of paper cartridges. Condition: Barrel retains 95% of the original blue finish. Cylinder retains 60% of the orginal blue finish with some brown patina. Frame retains 70% of the original blue finish with some flaking. Brass triggerguard retains 80% of the original silver-plated finish with some flaking. Grips are excellent. Case is in excellent condition with flask retaining most of the original lacquered finish. Mold retains 80% of the bright original blue finish. Pack of cartridges are unoopened and covered in plastic to protect them. This is a very fine set.Starting Price: $3000

Cased Model 1849 Colt Percussion Revolver.31 caliber, 4" barrel with single-line New York address, S/N 188744. Five-shot, all numbers match, silver-plated backstrap and triggerguard. One-piece walnut grips. Mahogany wood case with red velvet lining, eagle shield flask, mold and key for the case. Condition: Case is excellent. Lining has some wear where the pistol was lying leaving the cylinder and barrel imprint. Flask is almost mint with all of the blue on the spring and a very tiny dint, still retains most of the original applied lacquer. Mold retains 95% of the original blue finish with just a little brown flaking on the sprue cutter. Barrel retains 98% of the original blue finish; cylinder retains 90+ of the original blue finish, losing a little on the front edge and on the shoulders of the cylinder. Retaining 100% of the cylinder scene. Loading lever has 98% of the original case colors, frame retains 95% of the original case colors losing a little on the edges of the recoil shield. Backstrap and triggerguard retain 96% of the original silver-plated finish with just a little brass popping through on the edges. Walnut grips retain 100% of the varnished finish with couple very minute dents. This is a very strong case 4" 1849 pocket Colt.Starting Price: $3000
