Both have light wear and surface scratches.

A good 6 shot 60 bore self cocking bar hammer percussion pepperbox revolver, by Blissett, 9½? overall, barrels 4?, the breeches numbered 1 to 6 and with London proofs, the scroll engraved rounded frame signed ?J Blissett, Holborn, London? in oval, the butt with finely chequered grips, engraved backstrap and butt cap with trap. GWO & Generally quite crisp condition, the barrels retaining most original blued finish (some patches of wear); in its green baize lined fitted oak case, the rectangular brass lid escutcheon with folding handle, with trade label of ?Gass, Gun & Pistol Dept, 42 & 43 Oxford Street, London?, containing small tinned steel powder flask, brass mounted wooden loading rod with worm and jag, and a steel pincer mould (had been pitted and cleaned), and key to case. Patent 36,432R?, the cylinder also engraved ?36,432R?, with finely chequered walnut butt. GWO & near VGC, retaining 75% of original blued finish (small rammer screw missing); in its green baize lined fitted oak case, with trade label of R Adams (worn around the edges), containing bag shaped copper powder flask by Dixon, double cavity bronze mould for pointed bullets, nipple key with pricker, brass mounted wooden cleaning rod, pewter oil bottle by Hawksley, and a 16 bore wad punch (?). GC (some external staining to case, keyhole escutcheon missing). Plate 11 )
