An unusually large medieval lead flask-shaped pilgrim's ampulla. One face depicts a standing figure, possibly holding a fishing net. The other face with a six-petalled geometric design. Circa 15th century.The figure with fishing net is possibly a reference to John 21:11, when Jesus told the fisherman to cast their nets to the other side of the boat, resulting in a miraculous catch of fish.76mm x 54mm, 189g.
