Painted in 1965. Provenance: J.J. Patrickson, London Private collection of Captain Egerton It is believed that this painting of Captain Egerton, along with lot 63, a portrait of Francis Egerton, were Lionel Edwards' last commissions executed before his death. Both these lots are to be sold with a copy of the original invoice for the purchase of the works by Egerton from J.J.
