Together Peter and Renée became hugely successful racehorse trainers from their stud at Tyringham in Buckinghamshire Condition Report: The back with the pin attached is a later base metal plate, the ear towards the inside of the head has been slightly pushed into the head, but it isn't obvious. the dog did have a rope twist collar, and only a small section remains at the back of the dogs neck. He attended the West London School of Art and then the Royal Academy Schools, 1890–5. Lived in Parkstone, Dorset.

A fine Tunbridge ware combination pin cushion and tape measure by Edmund Nye, the stick ware base with printed circular label 'Edmund Nye Manufacturer .....' to a ribbed cylinder body below a stick ware top with blue velvet infill. The tape complete and in a remarkable state of preservation with the original stop, the tape printed in gilt with a 'buckle' end 'E. Nye', with Royal Coat of Arms and divided into nails and yards, very fine and probably unique in this state of preservation, 5cms high, 3cms dia. at base. From a distinguished UK Private Collection
