An A G Sangnell Dragon vase inspired by the Martin Brothers, dated 1930, swollen square section, incised and outlined in green with a dragon to each side, a ewer painted with grotesque birds, another with a potter holding a long stick both by Sangnell, a face jug and a modern pottery model of the Martin Brothers working in the studio by RC Kew dated 1986 incised marks, 19cm. high (5) Provenance The George Twyman Collection of Martin Ware
A Victorian cast iron "Falkirk" stick stand, the foliate cast decoration with bell flowers and beadwork borders, the reverse with cast marks "Falkirk PL2582 No 23" and Victorian registration mark. Height 76 cm, width 44.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The stick stand is in generally good order with only minor faults. It has clearly been repainted. The rear pediment is in good condition. The stick retaining bar is loose at the rear left hand joint. There has also been a fracture where the beaded moulding meets the bellflower moulding at the right hand side of this supporting bracket. There is very slight movement at this point, however it is perfectly serviceable. The back and base of the stand are in good order with no issues. The drip tray is original and also in good order. The registration marks etc are all clear and the number to the back matches that of the drip tray.
A good Arts & Crafts oak hall stand, with carved top above two cupboard doors each six moulded glass panes flanked by moulded panels, all above a central bevelled glass mirror and integral stick stand the sides with pierced decoration. Width 122 cm, height 200 cm, depth 36 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: We do have the drip tray which was not present when the photograph was originally taken. The piece is structurally very sound. The cornice is in good condition all round. The upper doors are not warped and meet in the middle. There is no damage to the glass. All coat hooks are present. The mirror is in good order with no perishing. The right hand corner of the bottom shelf at ground level has a small old loss to the right hand edge. Other than this the piece is in extremely good order and it could be used in its current state without the need for any work.
A Chinese silver mounted malacca walking stick, late 19th century, the silver mount embossed with entwining dragons amongst clouds surmounted by mother of pearl, upon a tapering malacca shaft. 95 cm. CONDITION REPORT: It would appear that this item has been vigorously polished and when looking at it through a magnifying lens we can see lots of very fine surface scratch marks. There are no obvious splits, tears or repairs visible. The bottom of the mount is slightly misshapen but not excessively so. The malacca stick itself has a small slither missing but nothing too detrimental. What may look like holes in the stick are in fact knots within the simulated branches.

A fine late 18th Century Welsh fruitwood knitting stick inscribed and dated 1798, of two stages united by two three link chains and a swivel, one part with a hook over a lantern and ball, the other with a lantern and ball over a cut out hook and inscribed to one side 'Thomas Bra Bruck 1798 - AW', the whole with zig zag chip carved decoration, the opposing side to the inscription incorporating within the design a shepherds crook, 39cm

A Japanese stencilled blue and white stick stand, early 20th century, decorated with nine scholars within a bamboo grove, 62 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small patch of fritting to the top rim. Other than that it appears to be in good condition throughout with no obvious chips, cracks or signs of restoration.
