A beech and elm Windsor chair by Samuel Snawdon, Yealmpton. With stick back, stamped mark, together with three other stick-back Windsor chairs (4).The Snawdon chair is in a good sturdy condition with firm joints but with a small amount of movement on the stick backs, the three other stick backs have firm joints, one of the backrest supports is split away from the seat.

The desk comes into three parts. The broken piece is not present. There is no key present. Damage to the reeded edges, chips and nicks out of the edges and corners commensurate with age and use.
