Provenance: Armstrong-Davis Gallery, Jan. 1975; private collection, UK - with original invoice and photo of this sculpture in a Bryant & May matches advert. Soukop taught Elisabeth Frink and Robert Clatworthy and was a very good carver and modeller, but tended not to stick to any particular style for too long [quite refreshing].
