A large "Liverpool” type Herculaneum Pottery creamware jug with printed decoration, one side of the jug is printed with an oval medallion inscribed, "Love and Wine" containing a scene of revellers in an inn, the text below saying "On the virtues of wine you may safely depend,he who sticks to his bottle will stick to his friend", on the reverse of the jug is an oval portrait inscribed "The Lawyer", 28cm high
