194 - - Jenny Brosinski. Watering Horses. 2020. Öl, Acryl, Oil-Stick, Bleistift, Kohle, Sprühlack auf säurefreiem Papier, gerahmt. 4 x 42 x 29,7 cm. Rückseitig signiert, Neumann-gerahmt. Zuletzt zu sehen in den Berliner Wilhelmhallen und in der König Galerie, gibt Jenny Brosinski (*1984, Celle) eine Serie von vier Papierarbeiten in die Direkte Auktion. In ihrer Arbeit verwendet Brosinski das Material Papier als rohen Bildträger, auf dem sie spielerisch-lässig Zeichen und Spuren hinterlässt, die wie kurz angedachte Skizzen wirken. Bei näherer Betrachtung jedoch wird eine gut durchdachte Poesie erkennbar, die Brosinski mit klassischer Ölfarbe, Sprühlack oder Olivenöl auf das Blatt aufträgt - eine Herangehensweise, die den Werkprozess transparent macht und gleichsam eine schwebende Unvollständigkeit offenbart, die zum Weiterdenken anregt und die Brosinskis Arbeiten atmen lässt.

094 - - Wolfgang Flad. Dark Side of the Moon LV4RE_grünlila. 2020. Mixed Media. 48 × 38 cm. Gerahmt. Aus einer Serie von Arbeiten, die durch dichroitisches Glas aus jeder Perspektive anders wirken. Manchmal ist man selbst im Bild, manchmal nicht, je nach Standpunkt. Unter der glatten, gefälligen Oberfläche, hinter der durchgestylten Show, liegt versehrtes, zerklüftetes Terrain. Der Ort der unbewussten Projektionen und blinden Flecken, man denkt an Goyas "Schlaf der Vernunft". Im Film "Iron Sky", der die unheimlichen Phantasien von Filmfans zu einer hysterisch-absurden Dystopie zusammensetzt, versucht eine Gruppe von Nazis im Jahr 2018 von der dunklen Seite des Mondes aus die Welt zu unterwerfen. Einladung zur Selbstreflexion ohne Selfie-Stick. - Wolfgang Flad wurde 1972 in Reutlingen geboren, studierte dort Textildesign und dann Bildende Kunst in Stuttgart. Er ist international auf Ausstellungen vertreten und lebt in Berlin.
